US Championships Turns it up to Eleven!

First Regional Contest Next Week

US Air Guitar Championships starts the search of the greatest air guitar professionals of the nation in Chicago on 12 May. In 2011, the national tour covers altogether 18 cities .The ultimate goal of the US Air Guitar delegation is to find the next American Air Guitar Hero, and bring back the highest trophy of Air Guitar in US for the first time since 2008 when Hot Lixx Hulahan won the title of  the World Champion.

The tour will be starred by air guitar celebrities such as Björn Türoque, the esteemed Master of Airemonies, and Hot Lixx Hulahan, a former US and World Champion. 

US National Finals: Chicago’s biggest thing since Obama!

What goes around, comes around - The tour culminates in the thrilling National Final held in Chicago on 23 July. The 2011 US Air Guitar National Finals will pit nearly two dozen handpicked winners from 18 cities across the country against one another in a battle for Air Guitar supremacy, immediate fame, and lifelong bragging rights. The winner of this event will be forever crowned the 2011 US Air Guitar Champion.

The US Champion will travel in the 16th Air Guitar World Championships to compete against other National Champions from more than 20 countries. The climax of the air guitar season will be experienced in Oulu, Finland on 24-27 August 2011.
