The French are tuning air guitars in preparation for their 5th national air guitar championships. Last round of the French semifinals are held on 19 June in Nancy. At the very next day La Maroquinerie in Paris will be the official air guitar arena for the national final.
Russia is searching an heir for their first and only air guitar champion Alexander "Devilseducer" Gott. The national air guitar final takes place in CICterna Hall Moscow on 19 June.
The newly selected champions from both countries will win a trip to the 14th Air Guitar World Championships held in Oulu from 19-21 August 2009.
