Oulu Music Video Festival has assigned Mr. Jaakko Jokipii to a new Executive Director of the organization. Jokipii (b. 1980) has graduated from Oulu University with a Master Degree in Education and also holds a degree in management and educational administration. Jokipii has earned experience in event production by working as a production manager at Pro Piknik Festival Ltd., which organizers several acknowledged city festivals in the Oulu area. In addition, he has had an active role in several cultural associations of Oulu concentrating in the field of live music.Jaakko Jokipii will step on board in the beginning of November when Executive Director of past two years, Olli Rantala starts as a new development director of the Centre of Cultural Affairs in the city organization. Taina Ronkainen continues as Creative Director and Hanna Jakku as Festival Producer of Oulu Music Video Festival. The 16h edition of OMVF will be held on 19-23 August 2009.
